Please note all of these Scripts/Utilities may be installed during your Internet Explorer installation.
Connect to Virgin Net
This utility is placed on your desktop when you install Internet Explorer. It provides a quick way of connecting to the Internet. If you have Internet Config (the Internet control panel in Mac OS 8.5 and later) installed you will be able to connect and open your E-mail Application, Web Browser or News Reader software automatically. You can change the E-mail Application, Web Browser or News Reader options by using Internet Config. You need to change the following helper settings.
mailto for your E-mail Application.
http for your Web Browser.
news for your News reader.
Disconnect from Virgin Net
This script is placed on your desktop when you install Internet Explorer. It provides a quick way of disconnecting from the Internet. It works with Open Transport/PPP and most versions of FreePPP/MacPPP.

Virgin Net Control Strip Module
This Control Strip Module (CSM) is included to provide an alternative way of managing your Internet connection. From this single CSM you can connect, disconnect, open Internet applications and change your Internet preferences. For this CSM to work you must copy it to your System Folder. You will be asked whether the CSM should be placed in the Control Strip Modules folder. Click on the OK button and then restart your Macintosh using the Restart command on the Special menu. Once your Macintosh has restarted the CSM will be ready for use.
